TMA-MFD-2.1.4
Disable Bootstrap Protocols
Description
Bootstrap Protocols, including BOOTP, PXE, and DHCP are network protocols used by a network client to obtain its network configuration (IP, subnet, DNS servers, gateway, etc) automatically. It is recommended that bootstrap protocols be disabled. It has been previously recommended that MFD network configuration parameters be assigned statically. This configuration eliminates the need for the MFD to participate in the network bootstrapping process.
