Build from source

You need Git, Go 1.27 or newer and make.

1. Clone the repository

shell
git clone https://github.com/tmaegis/tmaegis.git
cd tmaegis

2. Build the binary

shell
make build

3. Run a read-only scan

shell
./bin/tmaegis scan --auto-detect

The binary is written to bin/tmaegis.

Windows rules that use PowerShell run with PowerShell 5.1 or newer. Linux checks need to run as root to read every file.
