First, check for the latest firmware version available going to https://support.fortinet.com and login. Go to Support -> Firmware Download. Check the latest firmware version available and choose the firmware for your specific model of the hardware. Click on "HTTPS" and "Checksum" next to your model to download the code and checksum. The last step is to install the new firmware. It is recommended to use GUI to perform this task as it would be much easier. In the GUI 1. Go to System > Config > Firmware 2. Under Upgrade File click on Choose File... 3. Then click on "Apply".
