TMA-FLASHARRAY-2.4
Ensure LDAP directory services use LDAPS with a configured CA root of trust
Mô tả
FlashArray supports LDAP directory services for administrative login and authorization, as well as for NFS authorization. Everpure recommends the following: ; Utilize LDAPS in order to establish secure LDAP connections. ; Specify one or more certificate authorities as roots of trust for each LDAP directory service. Fails when any directory service URI uses plaintext ldap://; also confirm a CA certificate is configured (pureds list --ca-certificate). Passes when no directory service is configured (see 1.2). The audit is a config_regex check against a text export of the Purity//FA CLI, supplied with --device-config. Capture it over SSH with the --nvp (name=value) output option, for example: ssh pureuser@<array> "pureds list --nvp; pureds list --ca-certificate" > flasharray.txt (one file may hold the output of all commands used by this pack).

To align with the security recommendations, update your directory service configuration to enforce LDAPS and configure the appropriate CA certificate for trust. From the GUI: ; Navigate to Settings > Access > Users and Policies. ; In the Directory Service panel, select either the Array Management or Data button, then click the edit icon. ; Update the URIs field to use the ldaps:// scheme (e.g., ldaps://ldap.company.com:636) and click Save. ; To configure the root of trust, click Edit next to CA Certificate within the Directory Service panel. Paste the PEM-formatted certificate from your Certificate Authority and click Save.
