This policy configures the level of access users have when managing CA certificates in Microsoft Edge. The recommended state for this setting is: Enabled: Disallow users from managing certificates. Rationale: Configuring this policy to the recommended state prevents users from unknowingly installing certificates that grant excessive trust, such as root CAs from unverified sources. It also prevents system-trusted certificates from being tampered with by users. Audit reads the Group Policy registry value and prints 'compliant', 'unset' (policy not configured, reported as FAIL) or the non-compliant value. Registry value: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Edge:CACertificatemanagementAllowed (REG_DWORD); compliant when it is 2. Remediation writes 2 locally; in a domain set it through the ADMX so Group Policy does not revert it.
