Establish Firmware Currency
Opis
The MFD’s operating logic that controls device functionality and service operation is often stored in firmware or Non-Volatile Random Access Memory (NVRAM). It is recommended that firmware revisions remain current. Ensuring firmware currency will eliminate exposure to published defects and vulnerabilities that have been mitigated in more recent firmware revisions. 2.
