The binary directory (bin/) contains the executables for all TDSQL components: oss_server, scheduler, startup/shutdown scripts, and Python integration scripts. These files must be protected against unauthorized modification. The benchmark rates this recommendation Manual; the automated check covers its objective pass criterion. Uses TDSQL_HOME (install directory with bin/, conf/, boot/, log/; default /data/tdsql). Counts files that grant the listed permission to other users; any match fails, and a missing directory fails.
