The boot directory (boot/) contains Python modules, SSL certificates, and initialization scripts. Because it includes SSL private keys and operations modules, it must be properly protected. The benchmark rates this recommendation Manual; the automated check covers its objective pass criterion. Uses TDSQL_HOME (install directory with bin/, conf/, boot/, log/; default /data/tdsql). Counts files that grant the listed permission to other users; any match fails, and a missing directory fails. (o+rw). Expected: directory 0750, CA keys 0600.
