Set Maximum Number of Incoming Connections

MédiaNível 1Automatizadasolaris

Descrição

This setting controls the maximum number of incoming connections that can be accepted on a TCP port. Note that the value of 1024 is a minimum to establish a good security posture for this setting. In environments where connection numbers are high, such as a busy webserver, this value may need to be increased. Audit: `ipadm show-prop -p _conn_req_max_q` must be 1024 for both the current and persistent values.

Como é verificado

Método de auditoria: Comando shell

shell
command -v ipadm >/dev/null 2>&1 || exit 1; r=compliant; for p in tcp; do for k in current persistent; do v=$(ipadm show-prop -p _conn_req_max_q -co $k $p 2>/dev/null); [ "$v" = '1024' ] || r="_conn_req_max_q $p $k=$v"; done; done; echo "$r"
