TMA-LXD-TRUST-PASSWORD
Ensure core.trust_password is not set
ÉlevéeNiveau 1Automatiséelxd
Description
A trust password lets any client that knows it add its certificate as a fully trusted remote, and it is brute-forceable over the network. Use short-lived trust tokens (lxc config trust add) instead. The audit runs "lxc config get core.trust_password" (prints "true"/hash when set); newer LXD releases removed the key, which is reported as compliant.
