Description

Minimize the admission of containers with allowPrivilegeEscalation=true so that users, groups, and service accounts with deployment rights cannot broadly create pods, init containers, or other workload objects that permit a process to gain more privileges than its parent. Requires kubectl with cluster-wide read access (KUBECONFIG); system namespaces are excluded and listed resources must be remediated or documented as exceptions. Containers with allowPrivilegeEscalation: true are reported.

Add policies to each namespace in the cluster which has user workloads to restrict the admission of containers with .spec.allowPrivilegeEscalation set to true.
