Ensure the TXSQL SQL Firewall Is Enabled

MediumLevel 2Manual reviewtdsql

Description

The TXSQL kernel includes a built-in SQL firewall (txsql_sql_filter) that can reject specific SQL types/keyword patterns or limit the concurrent connections matching a rule. Rule metadata is stored in information_schema.txsql_sql_filter_info (fields: TYPE, ITEM_ID, CURRENT_CONN, MAX_CONN, REJECTED_SQL_COUNT, CREATED_TIME, EXPIRE_TIME, EXPIRED, KEY_STR, ORIGIN_STR, etc.).

How it is checked

Audit method: Manual review

This recommendation cannot be checked automatically. A scan lists it with these instructions when you pass --include-manual.

-- Check the SQL firewall switch SHOW GLOBAL VARIABLES LIKE 'txsql_sql_filter_enable'; -- View configured filter rules and their hit/reject statistics SELECT * FROM information_schema.txsql_sql_filter_info; Confirm txsql_sql_filter_enable = ON, and that interception rules are configured for critical scenarios (financial transaction tables, user data tables).

How it is fixed

Fix method: Guidance or infrastructure patch

Configuring rules through the OSS management interface is recommended (OSS validates rule legality before pushing). If executing SQL directly as an administrator, the rule syntax of the txsql_sql_filter variable is: -- Enable the SQL firewall SET GLOBAL txsql_sql_filter_enable = ON;
